I do not like the B10 Knob, why did they design it that way and are there other options?

Answer 1: One of the reasons for the small, smooth circular knobbed version is to help the footprint of flash to make smaller to fit in the photographer’s camera bag. If you’d prefer to look into other options, one of our Profoto experts suggested Promedia gear - they make replacement knobs with a more grip handle.

Answer 2: If you are used to the other lights, such as the D2's, B1's; you may be trying to pull the B10 knob just as hard. Note that the B10 knob has teeth and will not since the teeth will keep it in place. Our solution is to not replace the knob and to not tighten it so hard. It will work - just do finger tight and you’re good to go.
