The D2 offers great flash duration over the full energy range, and the average flash duration is more than ten times faster than the D1 offers. This adds extra sharpness to most images, even if the movement isn’t super fast. This is especially great for high resolution cameras such as the Nikon D810/D850, Canon 5DS, Sony A7R II/III and medium format cameras.
