No setting changes in the camera are needed. If you use another Leica model than the SL2 or SL2-S, you need to change to X-Sync in the settings on the remote to use it in manual mode.
For Q2 and Q3, make sure to set you shutter to 'Mechanical* and that Flash mode is ON.
For M11, the camera firmware need to be 1.6 or later.
