Currently, only the Sony A9 III supports Global Shutter. When used with other Sony camera models, this setting behaves the same as the 1st/Hi-S sync mode.
Supported flashes (with updated firmware):
A10, B20, B30, D30, Pro-B3, Pro-D3 and Pro-11
Flashes need to be manually set to FREEZE mode
Note: Available in FREEZE mode and when triggered by Connect Pro for Sony (firmware version B3 or later) or with A10 for Sony (firmware version C6 or later).
