The mount has been designed with very strong magnets leading to you flash sitting firmly. There is however always the possibility of it falling off if, for example, something hits the flash. When used in very crowded areas where someone might bump into your flash. Or if you use very large, abrupt movements, please take extra precautions and secure your flash.
