What is the LED ring around the camera for?

Modified on Mon, 05 Feb 2024 at 10:05 AM

Elevate uses a multi colour LED ring to inform the model what is happening and when.

  • A green ring indicates that a new session is being created so the model can pose in neutral position for the session's thumbnail.

  • Blue indicates photo mode and each time the shutter is released, the ring pulses brighter to indicate to the model that a photo has been taken and then the next pose can be adopted.

  • Red indicates video mode is active, after a brief countdown tone, the ring will count down the time using a simple animation. This animation will show the model how much time is left of the current recording, allowing them to time their motion accordingly.

  • White indicates that the system is in calibration mode and the user must wait until calibration of the motors and sensors is complete.
