When a new firmware version is available, a notification bar will appear in the app after you have connected your unit.
- Open the Profoto app.
- Tap the + sign and connect your unit.
- Tap the firmware update notification in the app.
- Wait for the update to download and install. It’s important to keep the device running the app close to the unit during the update to prevent the Bluetooth connection from being lost. Also make sure the batteries are fully charged or fresh before starting.
- Once the update is complete, you can continue using the unit.
To double-check the installed firmware version, go to Settings > About on the unit.
If you don’t get the new firmware notification in the app, please make sure
the latest version is not yet installed. If not, log out from the app and then log in again.
