Recycle time of my Profoto A1, A1X and A10 some times drops. Is this to be expected?

The A1, A1X and A10 are packed with a lot of power in a small volume. There are temperature sensors built-in to secure that they will not overheat. Since we designed the flashes for heavy duty you can use them for longer bursts of full power flashes than any other on-camera flash in the market. Depending on environmental and usage situations even the A1, A1X and A10 will however at some point slow down recycling to protect internal circuits.
