I have bought/want to buy a Profoto C1 Plus/C1 for my supposedly compatible Huawei smartphone. But on the Profoto C1/C1 Plus packaging it says that it requires iPhone 7 or later. Will it work?

If your Profoto C1/C1 Plus unit’s packaging has a label stating that it requires iPhone 7 or later, you will need to follow the following steps to get it to work with your Huawei smartphone:

1. Download the Profoto app in Huawei App Gallery
2. Update the Profoto C1/C1 Plus to the latest firmware (A9 or later)
3. Go to the system menu’s Bluetooth section, and connect to your Profoto C1/C1 Plus
4. Now you are good to go to create images with Huawei’s native camera app and your Profoto C1/C1 Plus
