It should be noted to remove the battery from the unit while transporting gear. If the battery is installed in equipment this must be packaged so it won’t accidentally turn on while transporting or traveling. Spare batteries should be packed individually or battery terminals taped to prevent short circuits of batteries during transportation or during a flight. A battery cover should be installed while transporting or traveling with the unit, to protect the battery connectors.
