Profoto does not have a collaboration or TTL solution for Hasselblad cameras. We recommend using a non-TTL remote.
When an A10, Connect, or Connect Pro for Nikon is used with a Hasselblad camera, TTL functionality will not work with the latest firmware versions.
Profoto has an official collaboration with Nikon, and the latest firmware release includes improved TTL functionality for Nikon cameras. As a result of these updates, TTL functionality is no longer supported when using Hasselblad cameras.
Hasselblad has developed its own TTL system based on Nikon’s TTL technology, but there is no collaboration between Hasselblad and Nikon. This means that the latest Profoto firmware is not compatible with Hasselblad’s implementation of TTL. An update to the Hasselblad camera firmware would therefore be required. Neither Profoto nor Nikon has access to Hasselblad’s camera firmware, so we are unable to make the necessary changes on Hasselblad’s side.
Our service stations can install the previous firmware version on your Connect- or Connect Pro for Nikon. This version works with Hasselblad cameras, but you will lose some of the newer features introduced in the latest firmware, such as Multi-Pop and cycling.
For the A10, the previous firmware version (C7) is available on the Profoto A10 firmware support page. This allows you to downgrade the unit by downloading the firmware to a computer and connecting the A10 via USB.
