This support article will help you understand how to add Style Guides to products in a Work Order using ProStudio for workflow. This article includes a step-by-step guide with activities necessary to perform.


Introduction

Style Guides are essential to add to instruct the Photographer and Stylist on what is required for this specific product. It also creates Asset containers that can be seen under the Work Order Asset view. These views are essential yo match uploaded images to the right view on the product.


Pre-requisites

The Style Guide must be defined with the right fields to help staff know what to shoot but also to help matching the the assets to the views when uploaded to ProStudio.


Add Style Guide

Style Guides are mapped to all the products in the Work Order. This will indicate how many different images/assets are required. The purpose is to make it clear to production what is required and to be able to foilow-up that all views have gotten assets.


Style guides are mapped to products through the following steps:

  1. Go to the right Work Order
  2. Select the Work Order/Products tab
  3. Select the products to have the same views
    1. Select all
    2. Select one or to
    3. Filter and select filterd
  4. Click the Action button and select Edit Style Guides
  5. Chose option Add, Replace or Remove option
    1. Add - will add style guides
    2. Replace -  will replace existing style guides
    3. Remove - will remove selected styleguides
  6. Select the views you want to Add, Replace or remove
  7. Click "Save" to complete the selection


Note: By holding down Shift you may select multiple views in a row. By holding down Cmd you may select specific views like above


Mapped views

Once added, the selected vies will be visible under the column "Mapped view" in the Work Order products listing

Asset Place holders

Under the Work Order Assets listing theseview are shown as place holders or container that indicates what the file names wil be after uploading assets.
