This support article will help you understand how to create a Work Order in ProStudio for workflow. This article includes a step-by-step guide with activities necessary to perform.
Introduction
In ProStudio for Workflow, the Work Order is the central planning tool. This is where you define what to shoot, when to shoot it, and who should be involved.
Prerequisites
The program has to be configured with all the relevant fields
and statuses for the Work Order to function properly. These fields and statuses are defined when setting out the system for the first time.
NOTE: If you work with live models you must have the model defined in order to select a Model when creating a Work Order. It is also important good to define the different studios that exist at your different locations.

Create Work Order
Creating a Work Order is performed from the main "Work Order" menu using the following steps:
- Go to main menu "Work Order"
- Click the Action button to the upper right and click New Work Order.
- Name the Work order and add any additional information that has been setup.
- Note: that the number of fields available depends on how the system has been set up
- All the fields do not have to be filled at once, they can be added later, please see "Settings" in the newly created Work Order
- Once you hit "Save" you have a newly created Work Order, click on the Work Order to enter more data. There are four new tabs available:
- Products
- Assets
- Upload Assets
- Settings
