Pre requisite

Not everyone are allowed to edit product data and this may require additional credentials. Please talk to your system administrator if you are not allowed to edit data.

Introduction

If you have a lot of product information already in ProStudio and you wish to edit that information there are essentially two ways to do that, either one by one or by multi selection.

Editing one-by-one

Editing one-by-one means that you edit one product alone

• Go to the general “Product” view and search for a product.
  • Note: there are several ways to search and filter product and this is covered in a separate section.
• Once you find your product, you select the product by clicking on the select box to the left
• Select "Action" and then "Edit product"
  • This opens up a detailed view with all the available product information
• If you are allowed to edit the product you can now change any information on the product and save it

NOTE: Some fields may be mandatory or required and they can’t be left empty. Also important to know that at least one field will be “Unique” and it can't be the same as any of the other fields and they will never be editable via multi-selection.

Edit via Multi selection

Multi selection can be done either in the main Product view or via the “Search/Scan multiple” view. To edit multiple products at the same time you do the same procedure as above but you select many products

• Go to the general “Product” view and search for a product.
• Filter and select all the products you want to edit.
  • Select by clicking on the select boxes to the left of the products you want to edit.
• Select "Action" and then "Edit product"
  • This opens up a panel view to the right
  • NOTE: the panel will look different from the panel used when editing a single product
• You are now asked to select the field you want to edit on the selected products
• Edit the fields and click save
