Introduction

Pixelz is a company that provides post-production services. They use highly advanced, and AI driven, technology to automate much of the post production tasks. These services are available via API and from ProStudio it is possible to set up a connection to Pixelz directly.

Prerequisites

You need to have a Pixelz agreement in place to access these services and the easiest way is to contact Pixelz directly to set up a Pixelz account. Please inform them that you intend to use there API services.

You also need to have the Integration module activated in ProStudio. Please contact your local ProStudio administrator or send a mail to your ProStudio support team.

Set up the connector

In order to set up the connector, go to the following page:

  • Settings/Integrations

In this module, please click "New integration" and follow these steps:

  1. Decide a name for the integtion
    1. This is only used for internal ProStudio purposes
  2. Select "Pixelz" in the drop down menu
  3. Fill in Pixelz credentials
    1. Pixelz API Key
    2. Pixelz API secret
    3. Order contact e-mail
  4. Select Asset status when assets are with pixelz for retouch
  5. Select the Asset status you want to set when importing the result from Pixelz
  6. Select the Asset status to if there is an erros
  7. Test the connction
    1. This allows you to validate all the credentials

Pixelz credentials

The Pixelz credentials are given to you by Pixelz when signing up for an account with them. They will be found on the contract with Pixelz or when loggin into the Pixelz service.

NOTE: The "Order contact e-mail" MUST be the same as the e-mail used when signing up for the Pixelz service

Asset statuses for retouching

The Assets statuses that are requested for the service is to make it easier for you to know the status of the asset without having to set this manually every time.

Essentially you want to look at an asset in ProStudio and see that this asset is with Pixelz for retouch. You also want to see when the asset is returned from Pixelz to know that it is retouched.
