Profoto ProStudio app
5.1 release
A clearer way to control exposure.
Faster, smarter and more reliable across every view.
We’ve redesigned how Simple and Advanced camera modes work to make exposure control more intuitive, predictable, and camera true.
Whether you’re making quick adjustments or working fully manual, everything now behaves exactly the way you would expect.
Simple mode, made simple
Each view now stores a true base exposure, defined by its ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. Every time you select a view, the base settings are applied automatically. Simple mode the works just like Exposure Compensation on a camera, letting you quickly brighten or darken the image relative to that base exposure, without saving or resetting anything.
Fast, flexible, no friction.
Advanced mode, total control
Switch to Advanced mode to take full control.
Your camera settings apply globally across all views, regardless of how they were created, Think Manual mode: one consistent setup, complete control, no surprises.
One simple way to explain it
Simple equals Exposure Compensation, Advanced equals Manual Mode. Clear and familiar.
