View Attributes

Introduction

View Attributes are related to the Style Guide and defines what type of information can be stored on the views on the Style Guide in ProStudio. The Style Guide defines how to shoot a product and this function makes it possible to add and edit any required informnation to make it easy to understand and use  the Style Guide.

 

Adding View Attributes

Adding an View Attribute is as simple as with any other configuration in ProStudio. You simply do the following steps:

  1. Go to the "Settings/Advanced"
  2. Select "View Attribute"
  3. Click "Add new attribute"
  4. Fill in the fields
  5. Click "Save"

 

Filelds to till in

The configuration gives you some options to fill in and these are: 

  1. Name
  2. Type
  3. Required
  4. Sort Order

 

Name is simply what you want to call the attribute, we recommend you call it something that is easy to understand in your operation

Type: is what type of attribute it is, and this is depending on the usage. You may choose between:

  • Text
  • Integer
  • Numeric
  • Text area
  • Tags
  • List
  • Bolean
  • Date
  • User


Required is used to say weather this field in required or not

Sort Order is used if you have many attributes in the list and you want to determine the order that they are displayed


Update work order view names

View attributes are used to define how we name images and videos as they are uploaded to ProStudio. If you change any of the field used for naming the assets, these changes must be updated on all the Assets using these fields. in order to make this update on all assets you must initiate this process by clicking on "Update work order view names"
