Work Order Attributes

Introduction

Work Order Attributes defines what type of information can be stored on the Work Order in ProStudio. These are the fields visible on the Work Order listing as well as under the “Settings” tab on the actual Work Order. 

 

Adding Work Order Attributes

Adding an Work Order Attribute is as simple as with any other configuration in ProStudio. You simply do the following steps:

  1. Go to the "Settings/Advanced"
  2. Select "Work Order Attribute"
  3. Click "Add new attribute"
  4. Fill in the fields
  5. Click "Save"

 

Filelds to till in

The configuration gives you some options to fill in and these are: 

  1. Name
  2. Type
  3. Filter Type
  4. Enabled
  5. Required
  6. Show Attribute in List
  7. Sort Order

 

Name is simply what you want to call the attribute, we recommend you call it something that is easy to understand in your operation

Type: is what type of attribute it is, and this is depending on the usage. You may choose between:

  • Text
  • Integer
  • Numeric
  • Text area
  • Tags
  • List
  • Bolean
  • Date
  • User
  • Site
  • Model

Filter Type allows you to define weather this attribute should be filterable in the Assetmodule. The filter type is dependent on what Type you choose

Enabled is simply to say weather this is in use or not

Required is used to say weather this field in required or not

Show Attribute in List is used to indicate weather this attribute should be visible in the Asset listing

Sort Order is used if you have many attributes in the list and you want to determine the order that they are displayed
