Introduction

Model Attributes are used to add model specific information to ProStudio, this can be fields that describe the Model hight copyrigfht information, length of usage etc.

Pre-requisite

In order to use the Model module, you must have that module available. Please contact your local ProStudio administrator or Profoto to check how to get access to this module.

Adding Project Attributes

Adding an Model Attribute is as simple as with any other configuration in ProStudio. You simply do the following steps:

  1. Go to the "Settings/Advanced"
  2. Select "Model Attribute"
  3. Click "Add new attribute"
  4. Fill in the fields
  5. Click "Save"

Filelds to till in

The configuration gives you some options to fill in and these are:

  1. Name
  2. Type
  3. Filter Type
  4. Enabled
  5. Required
  6. Show Attribute in List
  7. Sort Order

Name is simply what you want to call the attribute, we recommend you call it something that is easy to understand in your operation

Type: is what type of attribute it is, and this is depending on the usage. You may choose between:

  • Text
  • Integer
  • Numeric
  • Text area
  • Tags
  • List
  • Bolean
  • Date
  • User

Filter Type allows you to define weather this attribute should be filterable in the Assetmodule. The filter type is dependent on what Type you choose

Enabled is simply to say weather this is in use or not

Required is used to say weather this field in required or not

Use Attribute in shortnames is used to indicate which information is to be shown on a page, e.g. when adding models to a work order.

Show Attribute in List is used to indicate weather this attribute should be visible in the Asset listing

Sort Order is used if you have many attributes in the list and you want to determine the order that they are displayed

Update shortnames

As models can be referred to in many places, e.g. multiple Work Orders, it is essential that the information can be updated. Whenever you edit information fields, these changes needs to be pushed to wherever the information is used. This is done by clicking on the “Update shortnames” button.
