Models - Manage information about your models

Modified on Tue, 23 Jul at 3:09 PM

Introduction

ProStudio for workflow supports the use of model information in the photo process. This is helpful if you want to know what model was used in specific model shoots, add user rights, or specific model info such as model height. This is information that can be very helpful to provide to your e-commerce site and will help your end-customers make better purchase decisions. It is also helpful to set the usage rights (time stamp) for the model usage.

Pre-requisite

In order to use the Models module, it must be activated, please contact your local ProStudio admin or the Profoto support team to help you set up the "Models" module if not already activated.

You need to have all the necessary attributes defined. You may define a number of different attribute types like Text fields, date, lists etc. For more information about field types, please refer to System configuration, Model attributes.

Adding model information

Model information is located in the "Settings" menu where you select “Models” in the submenu and this will display all the models that have been defined. Click "Action/Add model" to set up a new model. This will open a a panel where you can fil in information.

The information on model can vary depending on the fields you have configured. Examples of fields can be:

  • Nick name
  • Image
  • Detail description
  • Usage rights
  • Model length

You add the relevant information and possibly an image so it is easy to recognise models.

Editing and Deleting model

From the Model menu, select the Model you want to edit. Change the data that needs changing and click Save.

NOTE: Deleting Models that are used on a product or Work Order is not possible
